Community Picnic Event

Last year's food fair featured a sweet challenge: contestants had to guess the number of candies in the jar, with the closest guess winning the entire jar. Despite the popularity of the event, the time spent promoting the Sukui No Te cause was minimal. Additionally, many contestants found a loophole in the system: they would work together, each taking a minus one off their guess each time, getting one step closer to the answer, which, as a result, made the game underwhelming.

This year, the Sukui No Te team hosted a brand-new mini-game to collect sufficient funds for the weekly onigiri-making sessions. The mini-game consisted of a simple target shooting game, where children threw small balls into targets to win small bags of snacks and candies. As a result, the group successfully gathered around 14,000 yen in total. However, the same issues that plagued us last year would strike again. The game we hosted at the community picnic would prove successful in garnering funds. Although there was once again no promotion of the Sukui No Te cause, as it failed to foster community engagement.
